A close friend of mine who had her under eyes done by Dr Backup looked so good post surgery that I knew I would be using Dr Backup myself when I was ready. When we had our first consult I felt very at ease and secure and just knew this practice was a good one. I ended up doing upper and lower eye and the C02 laser for under eye. I could not be more pleased with the outcomes. I was forewarned that this is a messy recovery and it certainly was. But once I decided I wanted this, I accepted the 2 weeks post surgery for recovery and it worked out fine. This practice tracks client's progress and schedules several follow ups post surgery. Bottom line is- this group cares and I felt very comfortable. I love the results and recommend to my friends !! More

I had upper/lower eyelid blepharoplasty with lower lid laser skin resurfacing. Everyone in the office is very professional and friendly. They are very prompt with your appointments, no unnecessary waiting. I just had my last follow up appointment yesterday and I am completely amazed and happy with results. The took the final picture and placed it next to the before picture and I was surprised how much of a difference there was. It was hard for me to honestly see it because I have been dealing with being told how tired I look, how unattractive I look and how angry I look due to the circles under my eyes since I was 15. I am 61 now so my brain is so conditioned to believe I look a certain way. Recovery was not bad and Dr Brackup and the staff were always available if I had any questions or needed to see them. Highly recommend. Also, they are truthful with you about the results you can expect based on you, your skin, your circumstances and expectations. More
I just got back from my 1 week post- op appointment with Dr Brackup. I had a facelift and fully ablative CO2 laser done. I can't even begin to explain what an amazing experience it was from the time I made my appointment until today. Besides being extremely pleased with the work so far ( and I won't really be able to see true results for a while ) I found everyone in the office kind, knowledgeable and so willing to help in any way. I researched for months before I found Dr Brackup and drove 2 1/2 hours for my visits. He is an expert in his field with a wonderful demeanor. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Brackup ands staff for any procedure you are looking to have done. He is worth a drive no matter where you come from. More
Happy with the results so far and it's only one week out - I just got back from my 1 week post-op appointment with Dr Brackup. I had a fully ablative CO2 laser and a facelift . I can't begin to express how pleased I am with the entire process from my first phone call through today. Dr Brackup's staff ( front desk , nurses) was so friendly , knowledgeable and always willing to help. I am so happy with the results so far and it's only one week out. I had researched for months before I decided on Dr Brackup and was so glad I found him . He is an expert in his field with a demeanor to make anyone feel comfortable. He was well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive . In my opinion it would be worth any drive or flight to be under his care. If you are considering any face work to be done you should definitely talk to Dr Brackup!! More

Start to finish: Professional and friendly. But most important, results. I went to Dr. Brackup for eyelid surgery to correct sagging eyelids (they were very bad) two weeks ago. The outcome is better than I had hoped. My eyes easily look 20 years younger; I am not being dramatic. The result is startling in the best way possible. Care was taken to assure the scar line is natural and runs perfectly to where my eye naturally creases at the temple. The recovery was easy and if you adhere to the post-op instructions, only a few days of real restrictions upon a regular return to your day.I had come to Dr. Brackup upon seeing a co-worker's eyes after she had a lid correction performed. I was impressed and felt that I was ready to consult with a professional regarding my issue. My consultation was not rushed, I felt totally informed. This is an easy surgery for a true professional but it was not brushed off as light and breezy. He listened to me, asked several questions about what I wanted to achieve. We agreed that day that I would schedule the surgery. Two weeks later (and another visit go sign papers, obtain prescriptions, etc.) I had my surgery. This took about 40 minutes as I had some laser resurfacing done beneath my eyes as well. Stitches were removed after 6 days. Easy and painless.Today I had my two-week follow up and cannot recommend this practice enough. Dr. B is amazing. The staff are friendly, informative and caring. Oh, and every appointment I have had Dr. Brackup has been on time. This counts for a lot as far as I'm concerned. It shows a respect for the patient.Go and have a consultation if you are considering surgery. AND read his bio. He's just great, has a heap of experience and knows what he's doing. I found the cost to be very reasonable. Everything is covered start to finish, this included all the pre-and post-op appointments and a bag with things you'll need pre-and post-surgery - supplements and ointments. I'm so impressed. I'm a physician and a patient. Dr. Brackup first repaired my upper eyelid on one side and then a few years later the other because of an autoimmune disease (I have multiple autoimmune diseases) . He did a wonderful job and was so kind and gentle. The result of being ill and a long a contentious divorce left my face looking at least 15 years older than I was. I never thought I would ever get plastic surgery ( I have enough doctors in my life) , but my face had become a disability for me. I didn't think I could start my new life looking so ravaged and old. So I consulted plastic surgeons close to where I lived in Philadelphia that Dr. Brackup recommended. They were so cold and judgmental. I knew that the only doctor I could trust was Dr. Brackup . He did a facelift and laser resurfacing. Everyone says I look at least 15 years younger! The procedure wasn't as bad as I anticipated. His protocol gets your body prepared for the stress it's about to face. The staff at Dr. Brackup's office are wonderful, they are kind and generous with their time. I feel so much better about myself. His prices are so reasonable, I was surprised that were so inexpensive compared to others. Dr. Brackup cares about who are you as a person and what you are trying to achieve with the procedure. He and his staff are always available if you have any questions. They provide excellent after skin care advise and products that are reasonable priced compared to what other places charge. I can recommend Dr. Brackup without hesitation. He is worth any distance to travel for. He is the very best at what he does and perhaps most importantly he is a wonderful person. More
