David A. Rengifo, MD

David A. Rengifo, MD, is a fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed a five-year residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Florida. He then completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, under Dr. Anthony E. Brissett, who is internationally recognized for his expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery and has served as president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Rengifo is deeply committed to enhancing each patient’s natural features in a way that reflects their individuality. He brings a refined, personalized approach to patient care, offering thoughtful attention and a high level of precision. He prioritizes understanding each patient’s goals and expectations through attentive consultation.

Dr. Rengifo’s practice focuses exclusively on cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery of the face and neck. He specializes in advanced rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation procedures, otoplasty, skin cancer or trauma reconstruction, and facial paralysis treatment. Dr. Rengifo is also highly skilled in multiple nonsurgical facial treatments, including laser treatments and dermal injectables such as BOTOX or fillers. Though these treatments are often provided in conjunction with aesthetic or reconstructive surgery, they are available to any eligible patient.

Dr. Rengifo is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, and has authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and presents annually at national meetings. Before joining the practice, he served as an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Louisiana State University, where he trained residents, fellows, and medical students in comprehensive facial plastic surgery.

He is bilingual in English and Spanish. Outside the office, Dr. Rengifo dedicates his time to his wife and son, traveling, exploring new restaurants, playing soccer, surfing, snowboarding, and climbing.
